Restore corroded, leaking or degraded pipes from the inside — without breaking ground. NoDig's ProLight and BSE Spray Epoxy systems deliver structural pipe rehabilitation through brush coating and spray lining.
Four sequential steps from blocked or damaged pipe to fully rehabilitated, epoxy-lined infrastructure.
The NoDig BSE system is not just a coating — it's a quality control tool built into the material itself. No guesswork about coverage. No missed spots.
Common questions about epoxy pipe rehabilitation, ProLight and BSE coating material.
A trenchless method of restoring damaged or corroded pipes from the inside — without excavation. A two-component epoxy coating is applied to the inner wall using a brush or spray applicator. The cured epoxy forms a new structural inner lining that seals the pipe, stops corrosion and extends service life.
Brush coating uses a rotating brush head to physically spread epoxy across the pipe wall. Spray lining uses a pneumatic nozzle to atomise and spray epoxy. Brush coating delivers a thicker, more controlled film; spray lining is faster. NoDig's ProLight handles both methods depending on the head configuration.
No. NoDig's systems are fully trenchless. The ProLight machine is inserted through an existing access point, epoxy is applied from inside, and the pipe returns to service after curing. No road breaking, no excavation required.
NoDig BSE is a 2K epoxy in cartridge format. The dual-colour formulation means the base and topcoat are different colours — giving the operator real-time visual confirmation of complete coverage. A critical quality control advantage over single-colour systems.
A properly applied two-component epoxy lining has an expected service life of 50+ years under normal operating conditions. Longevity depends on correct surface preparation, accurate mixing ratios and the pipe's structural condition prior to lining.
The pipe must be fully cleaned using NoDig's mechanical cleaning machines (V8, V1 or Mini6), then dried completely. Correct surface preparation is the single most critical factor for coating adhesion and long-term performance.
The Pipe Boy is NoDig's industrial high-flow epoxy coating machine for larger-scale projects. Key differences vs ProLight: 370 g/min flow rate, pipe range up to DN300, water-heated hoses with automatic temperature control for consistent epoxy viscosity in all weather, remote control, and a 50m HP hose on a reel for long runs without stopping. Choose ProLight or ProLight2 for compact residential and commercial work up to DN150. Choose The Pipe Boy for municipal infrastructure, industrial pipelines and projects requiring larger diameters or high throughput.
